i found a set of 351 heads locally for 100 bucks. im getting the year off of the guy soon so i will inform you all of that when i get the info. are these workable? or shuld i getthe 450 dollar windsor jrheads?

'69-'74 heads are the ones your looking for if I remember right. You can go to NHRA.com and do a little searching there, they have all the stock head cc's listed for any make.
If they're ready to run and don't need a valve job and have good valves in them, then I'd get 'em, but if they need work, your likely better off buying new.

if the heads are in good shape, and you plan on using them as is, then go for it. if the heads need a valve job, but you plan on using them as is, after freshening them up, go for it. if on the other hand you plan on doing any porting, go for the windsor jr's.
