Winter Hibernation

Hey Guys,

for the first time I am storing my cobra convertible away from the winter....garaged (insulated) and Ford Car Cover of course. My stupid question is... Should i leave the windows partially opened or leave them closed for the next 4 months?

Thank you for your input...

I've put a few away for the winter inside my garage and here's what I did.

A few moth balls under the car to keep rodents away

plug the exhaust and wrap the intake with Saran wrap to keep critters out.

windows closed with a few bags of Silica Desicant on plastic trays to keep moisture under control. A friend leaves them open about 1/4 inch with his car. I do not know if one method is better tan the other.

Car cover for dust

Once a week I unplugged the exhaust and intake, started her up and rolled back and forth a few times to reseat the tires and keep fluids up into the proper places. This is also good for winter depression as you think good summer thoughts. Sometimes a trip around the block if there's no salt or crud on the roads. If you do not do this you must crank the engine a bit before firing it up in the spring to get the fluids up.

Good luck
