I'm from Quebec , Canada so I dont know about legal issue in your state . They cost me 1700.00$ all included on the car . I guess in the U.S. you can have them cheaper. Yes it change drinving quality , it's more noisy and a bit less traction on asphalt but 10x better on snow and ice. By the way these are top of the line winter tires.

I went with Pilot Alpin PA3s in the same size as the stock Brembo pkg tires. So far they are excellent in the dry and the wet. Looks like tomorrow we'll have snow and ice on the ground, and I'll see if I made the wise choice or not.

Well the colder it gets the better the PA3's work. Obviously restraint with the throttle is the order of the day but I have no problems starting, cornering or stopping. While not as good as full on ice tires like Nokians, Blizzaks or XIce's I'm still very satisfied with their performance. 8 out of 10.

The performance of the wipers/spray sucks. 0 out of 10. With as hot as the 5.0L runs I wouldn't expect the nozzles to freeze, but they do. The wipers themselves sit far too low on the windshield and consequently the ice sticks to them like glue and doesn't melt.

Thankfully the heater/defroster is really an afterburning jet engine from an F15 and it coverts water drops to water vapor in very short order. 12 out of 10.
