Hey fam.. I'm plannin on doing the following to my baby over the winter:
New paint job
New suspension
New bodykit

so I'm asking for some suggestions.. as far as the suspension I really want to go with one of those adjustable air kits. Do any of you have any experience with that? But I'm willing to go with a lowering spring kit too. Is Eibach the only one everyone uses? are there any other manufacturers? Also do any of you know of a website that has bodykits? I don't want anything too radical.. prefer something low key where peoplel will notice that there is something different about my stang without it overwhelming the car and making it look like a space ship.. thanks in advance..

hmmm airbags and bodykits huh? Are you sure you're in the right forums....maybe try www.ricer.net?
why don't you drop some of that 5-8k on some mods that will do something for your car....you can always add some stickers later

as far as air bags go - they are a much better choice than regular springs. although they are MUCH more $$$.

as far as a "kit" goes - i woudl stick with something from cervini's, or roush/steeda/saleen. i am partial to the stalker front bumper for obvious reasons, but the saleen IMO is the 2nd best. but stay away from those gawdy, ricer kits like the ones from mrbodykit.com

if you are set on all of that, then more power to ya. but if i were you i woudl invest in some control arms, brakes, mongoose SC and 373 gears. but again thats jstu my oppinion.

I'm looking at doing a Saleen body kit over the winter and then a new paint job. I just wonder how much a full body quality paint job is going to cost after a whole body kit plus hood...?

a quality paint job will set you back 4-6k without much effort....and you definitely don't want to scrimp on a paint job...its really painful

LOL man come on.. I have some engine mods already and I'll be gettin some PI cams, intake and 4.10's in the spring.. No reason to be narrow minded.. But since I'm not gonna be racing every second I'm in the car I want to also improve the looks.. .I like that Saleen body kit.. it adds something without being over the top.. yeah I checked into the airbag system.. kinda pricey but it'll be different.. but after all is said and done I may just go with the lowering springs
