So I decieded to save up and add a vortech... I would like to thank whoever posted the thread titled "build your own supercharger for 1500$." I used that method and saved a ton. Here's a pic.

331rwhp/361rwtq on a pretty safe tune.

It's fun

I think he told me 3.33", so that would be about 10-11psi. Good you got it up and running, but you needa get it to a REAL shop that knows what they are doing and get the tune dialed in right Good luck, congrats, you'll have a blast once you get it setup perfect

The very first pull made 370rwhp/370rwtq. But was unsafe. I'm going to add the boost gauge today to see exact numbers and save to take it to another shop somewhere in Jersey or PA

Used V1 - $900
Fuel System - $500
Brackets, intake and discharge assembly - $750

Without install it totalled around 2300 including random pullies and plugs belts ect.

SWEET! This is what I set out to do, but I found a good deal on a used mongoose kit instead. What other mods do you have? You might look at getting a powerpipe

Yeah.. I'm looking at a retune asap, followed by tb/plenum and maybe a powerpipe. I would be happy with ~370 and quit, if it were tuned right. Although it does run smoothly

Was that a Dyno-Jet or a Mustang Dyno. I curious because of the numbers.

Either way it's still bada$$! Nothing like a loud high pitched whine coming out from the hood at the red light!

SQ makes 5-10hp more usually though And can handle 20-40rwhp more total, so some say, heh.
