That's frigging sleet falling on my stationary Stang. 7 days off and the weather is gonna suck every, single, day.

We had a nice warm spell here in Wisconsin with a heavy shot of rain that washed all the salt off the roads last week. Then, Tuesday night, they dumped 1/2 and inch of salt on 1/4 inch of snow.amnit: No warm temperatures/rain to wash the salt off again for at least 2 more weeks. Spring delayed. Cruel, cruel tease.:violin:

I'm in Southern Indiana and we got a dusting last night, but the roads are clear and dry.... I think I'll take the Stang for a drive before it snows again tonight.

That sucks. We finally got a break in our rainy weather today. I finally got around to washing and waxing the Stang. I actually washed her twice because I was rinsing her off after the first wash and still noticed some dirt, so I figured might as well do it all over again.

You're CA Special obviously doesn't reside in California.

I agree!!! Enough already with Winter - it's almost April and it can't avg above 45 degrees in NYC. I had to thaw my garden hose inside the house just to be able to wash the stang this past weekend. Until it gets warmer, NYC will not fix the pothole-ridden, weather-beaten roads. And until the roads get fixed, I dare not get my new shoes yet - 19" Vossens. I'm terrified to think of what these roads will do to them - at this rate, I won't be getting them until late May :-(

I'm afraid we all don't have that priviledge - I guarantee the stang is thoroughly loved, just the same I do plan on getting a car cover, though....

Make sure you get a strap that goes under the car connecting both sides of the cover, most have a gromet hole to do this. Otherwise the wind does NASTY things to the cover.

and wasnt trying to be rude....just was feeling like a smart a$$ yesturday

Man, I'm already sick of the 85 degree days in Florida and it's not even April yet.

parking over bare earth concentrates moisture on the undercarriage and can promote rust.

I just figured he was going to give an opinion on people who park in their yards. I had to park there to let the delivery guys get to my back yard and I sure wasn't parking my car on the street.
