I tried using 'search' to find some answers first, but I drew a blank and I'm here asking the question instead.
Now that the cold morning weather is upon us again, my 98 GT engine howls when it's stopped. The noise goes away when the gas is pressed, only to return when the car comes to a stop again. The car doesn't make this noise all the time, only on a cold morning with a cold engine. It really sounds as though it's some kind of air intake resonation..
No other problems with the car whatsoever, it drives just as great as always. It's just that this loud howling noise is driving me crazy, not to mention it's outright embarassing....
