Well my wipers used to go on and spray the windshield cleaner all over the place when I used to put muy turn signal on. This was VERY annoying, especially since i'm turning, and now my wipers and windshield are getting soaked and spraying crap everywhere. But it went away, and doesn't do it anymore

....now that i said that, it will probably start back up again

In your case though, sounds just like some faulty wiring. Maybe a fuse problem? Otherwise it sounds just like a short in your wiring somewhere.

This is common with Ford Rangers. The wiper switch was faulty. This is the first I heard with Mustangs though. It could be the same thing.

Mine were faulty about three years ago, Ford replaced the entire turn signal stalk under warranty.

I took it to the local dealership just to have them give me a free "report" on what the problem was, they said i need to replace the Multifunction switch $126.04. that sounds way to expensive(but it was the dealership!)

Heh. FWIW, mine does this too, once in a literal blue moon...washers are spritizin' and spraying and I'm like "wtf? what did I do..." Fiddle with the switch and it stops. I think in the near 3 years I've had the car it's done this maybe twice...

Mine does it once in a while too. Has not happened in about six months, but it is pretty embarassing to turn your car on and have it empty the washer fluid in a parking lot on a sunny day.

Yup, there is a TSB on this. Replace the multi function switch.
