I just tested my plug wires and they average 1008 ohms per foot. I have Ford Racing 9mm plug wires, are those numbers good? their about a year and 3 months old.
Thanks,
-aj

I thought that FMS wires were supposed to be around 500 ohms per foot.

i don't know what they were originally, but i did say that they were over a year old so the resistance would probally build up... the only reason i ask is because my shop manual says that they shouldn't be over 5000, which seems pretty high to me.

The 1008 ohms per foot is good, if it is less that, it is OK too. Max resistance is about 2000 ohms per foot. More than than start thinking about new wires.
