The universal switch should have a diagram or instructions as to which terminal(s) are for ignition, which is accessory and which is crank. No, the 90* bend wire on the solenoid is the crank wire. It goes to the crank terminal on the universal switch. If you look at your schematic for your car, you can look at the ignition switch and see what wire colors go to accessory, run, and crank.
