Wiring a MSD Ignition and 3 Stage Retard HELP

Hi there has anyone here wired a MSD 6AL ignition along with a MSD 3 stage Retard to a 1987 Mustang using the Factory Ford Distributor. I have got to the point where im not sure which wires conects to the distributor. Im using the Istalation instructions. They show that a Green wire goes to Violet wire and the Violet wire goes to the orage wire. But on mu Distributor wires thoses two colors do not exist. Help mew please im so colse but yet so far away.

is there 2 wires comming off the distributor? I have the full msd set up and the only violet wire for mine is off the distributor (msd pn8479 pro billet dist.) and the violet wire plugs in with the (6a ignition)
Your set up is differnt then mine but ill just quickly write out what colors go where off my diagram... it might help you

Heavy black to battery negative
Heavy Red to battery positive
black to negative on coil
orange to positive on coil
Red to switched 12v
white (connects to yellow wire of timing accessories)
Green and Violet to distributor

you have 6al which i think has the same wiring set up but with an extra wire? I could be wrong. Let me know if you need any more help im not sure if the infomation i gave you would help but i guess somethings better then nothing lol

Thanks for the Info and Yes its the White Wire that goes to the Negative (original Coil wire) Trial and era and got it.. Haulin some serious azz now love my Nitrous kit. Real Punch and great rush. Thanks though.
