well my buddy who also has a 98 GT was changing his clutch out to a king cobra unit this past weekend. in the process of removing the tranny he forgot to diconnect the wiring harness and when he dropped the tranny he destroyed the harness in the process. basicaly he needs a new one. he's found a 5spd wiring harness for sale in the local classifieds but it's from a 99 GT. i told him i'd do some doublechecking to see if it would work because of the model changes. so onto the main question. will a 5spd wiring harness from a 99 GT work in a 98 GT? or are the electrical connections different? let me know what's up guys and thanks for the help.
