Can anyone help me identify these wires on the harness. My car is a 89 vert 5.0 Speed Density. The wires with the yellow connectors are going to a relay to i don't know what. The car runs and drives fine. My oil and temp gage don't work and I'm trying to see if any of these wires will make them work.

When you do that, make sure to quote their post so they get an alert and can [find] it.

When [you] create the thread instead of the member, they do not [auto-subscribe] so they have no idea what you did or where it went.

So, quote the OP post so it generates an alert for them to find and tell the member to [subscribe] or [follow] their own thread so that they get alerts when somebody posts to it.

‘89 wasn’t speedo density. Those were all mass air. However that intake tube is not Mustang specific along with the oil fill cap, so is this an engine swap? Former 4cyl?

The item with the wirenuts is the WOT relay for the AC.

As for other items, would require really digging into the wiring diagrams to identify. Problem is, given that this car shows signs of not having an original engine, the wiring harness could be from anything and we have no idea what wiring diagram to look at. The wire colors for an ‘89 Mustang could be different than wiring for an ‘88 Lincoln 5.0 engine and SD wiring harness
