Hey guys, been a while, still trollin in the background but since college haven't had much time to pay attention to the girl :(

I'm int he process now that i have everything of cleaning stuff up. Wiring right, etc. Well I'm starting to accumulate some toggle switches, O/D lockout, Rev. Lockout and this summer I'm going to add a ground relay plus I'd like to add a toggle for my stereo.

last summer I made a fused 12V block with 8 circuits in it so I wasn't pulling off of radio accessory anymore :rlaugh: that was nice and the start of cleaning some electrical stuff up.

anyway, anybody have a classic with some toggles on the dash? I'm trying to figure out where a good spot to do them would be. I'm debating making an aluminum panel that would fit below the dash where a standard 67 console would fit in. I'd have room for toggles and hopefully a trans temp for the new cooler.

Just trying to stew ideas, I'd like to leave the radio in cause i do listen to AM every now and then to get Wx and stuff.

anyone have some good pics??

thanks!

there are universal under dash radio mounts all over ebay....you can paint to match your interior (unless its already black) and put a piece of aluminum or something like that where the radio would go, would be a nice trick place to put a panel and a gauge perhaps, and would be handy to the fuse box.....I have seen people use these to put a modern radio in like a 66 without chopping up the dash and it looked great.

thanks, I'm thinking of making something similar to that link only have it extend all the way down to the floor. I guess we'll see once i start fabricating :p

I've seen some interesting delete panels or fabricated panels in other cars but I'm trying to formulate some ideas for the old girl.
