I'm looking to get a new motor soon ether a 331 with a vortech at 10psi witch would cost almost $9000 the way I want it. Or a NA 351 with custom cam afr heads ect..also what would be involved and cost with a 351 install? Will my T5 bolt to it? Can I use the stock K-member? I would really like to have a vortech but also going to do more road racing and heard a blower isn't the best to have??

Putting $9 into or on the stock block would be stupid. How about a 351 with boost?

Kinda partial to the Vortech...

Boost gets you laid.

How about a 351 stroked to a 427? Although I believe a 408 is cheaper and easier to find pistons for.

AFR 205s, 850 holley DP, victor jr. manifold, hydrolic roller cam.

Rev to 6500, 500 rw streetable and reliable HP.

mmmmmmmmm.

I would do a DSS engine. And if I was to do a 351 I would want fuel injection..

The blower will be less predictable on the road course. As stated above its very easy to make 450+rwhp with a 408ci motor. You will need headers, distributor, and new intake (of course). The motor mounts and k-member will work fine. I would think you would want the low end torque of the windsor for road racing as well.
