The aod doesn't have the range sensor like the aode but I put in a 5 speed transmission harness I thought would by pass it. Is that right or do I have to do something else?

What ECU are you using? If it's the one from the V6 you may need to change to a T4MO.

Clicking? Are we talking about the same part? There is nothing to click in the ECU but the CCRM houses 4 relays one of which is for power to he ECU. For better clarification are you saying the engine doesn't crank or cranks but doesn't start? If it's the former check the power cable to the starter and the battery to engine ground.

Yes the starter isnt cranking or making a click like a low or dead battery checked all cables and they are good so im kinda lost as what it could be.

Sounds as if the battery is nearly dead. A voltage reading here isn't all that important. Pull the battery and have it load tested. I'll bet it fails.

Problem is fixed! It was the dead battery and I was double checking all the grounds and the ground for the left head light was cut. Spliced it back together and the car turns over fine now. Gonna pour some gas in it and fire it up for the first time since the swap tomorrow. Thank you toyman for all your help!

There is no way a headlight ground being cut would prevent the starter from turning. The starter ampere draw would fry a 10 to 14 ga wire in seconds. If you haven't already remove and clean the battery to engine and engine to chassis ground terminals. These are 2 ga cables and are needed to carry a starter load of a few hundred amps. A dead battery I understand.
