Not really worth a thread but oh well. Was gonna get the MMR 900 but decided Id rather buy VT so I called them up and got pricing to compare the MMR. The VT is like $200 more but I have heard nothing but great things about VT. I was gonna order it later to day but didnt have time so first thing tomorrow the order will be made. They told me about 4 weeks but since Christmas it will be about the last week in January or the first week of February. Anyways just thought Id let everybody know.

i ordered my block from them already. they arent going to build it untill i can install it, which will be over the summer. jin said the block shouldnt just sit so to call him about a month before i want it. they seem like good guys.

are you going to run an 8 rib pully set and higher boost now? or are you just getting it for security.

Congrats .They were great to deal with and got mine built earlier than planned. I am in the process of breaking mine in so I can get it tuned.Sounds really good with their stage 2 cams.

Do you really need a new block?

IMO (judging by your mod list), you could better spend the money on :

Suspension
Torque Convertor
J-mod your valve body

But, it's up to you. You can't go wrong with either block as I've only read good about both companies.

Well orderd it today the VT Sportsman should be here by end of January and in my car by mid February!!!

The shortblock is kinda for security but Im also going to be upgrading more very soon. I want to get the big things out of the way ie: blower, intercooler, and now shortblock. See Im a senior in high school so I want to get that stuff out of the way before I go off to college. Purdue FTW. As soon as thats in all thats left is "little stuff". I borrowed about half the money for the short block from my dad. So I should have him paid off in about 2-3 moths. Once hes paid off and Ive got 1,000 miles on the new block then the fun begins.

My plan is:
  • 8 rib kit for 15-20 psi
  • KB BAP
  • TB/Plenum
  • Maybe MM Street Stip Pakage

Later down the road I might do a head and cam pakage, not sure yet. I want to have the items listed above on before the end of summer though.

Dont you ever read the thread titles here. When people get something new they say WOOT. I got a new block so I thought Id be cool and say WOOT too. LOL

Or it could mean Wide Obnoxiously Open Throttle.
