World Cup!!!!!

Yay Germany is kicking arse!!!! Being half German I have to cheer for them. I don't think that the U.S. has a prayer of winning a world cup any time soon but I'll be wishing the best for our team as well.

Sucks that we lost our first game. I look forward to watching us play Italy in my hometown of Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Who do you guys favor for the cup this year?

I am a total Brasil fan. I beleive we will take it again.

Germany really didn't kick too much ass today vs. Poland. I mean they scored their only goal with like a minute or two left in stoppage, but thats how Germany plays traditionaly.

True. Really they didn't play all too hot their first couple of games. I'm just happy that they won I like Brasil as well, they're an awesome team. It would be nuts if Germany and Brasil met again!

Even though the final score was 1-0, Germany has looked strong in each of their first two games. Poland put up a good fight but was under pressure practically the entire time. Too bad someone had to lose but I'm glad it didn't end in a tie. I haven't seen enough games to pick a favorite. Have a few more on DVR that I'm going to watch. I did see the U.S. game though. Ouch. After that weak showing they have alot to prove going in against Italy.

I am pulling for germany since I am pretty much 90% german, but I don't think they have what it takes to even get to the finals.
My guess to win it brazil, england, or even possibly Spain.
