Would it be smart if I set them up like this?

there are a few cars with dif. diameter wheels front and back....if i recall...00 R, Z06, Other 'high end' sports cars.

00R uses 18"s front and rear.

Typically, it's better to go with one wheel size just for rotating purposes. If you plan on running fat tires in the rear anyways, there's no problem with running two different diameters, but performance wise, you'll go slower with 18" wheels vs 17".

Take into consideration overall tire height...make sure the new rear tires are the same height as the old ones (speedometer reasons)

If i remember..if you have 225/55/16's
then it will be the same as 245/35/18's

NOTE: My example may be wrong, i remember seeing that on tv a LOOONG time ago.

You better check first!!

When braking your abs light may come on unless that doesn't bother you or you unplug abs or pull the fuse.

When I run 28" tires at track the light comes on and the brake pedal sorta pushes back when you first get on the brakes and light stays on until you recycle key.

i agree with u on the look its unmatchable but as long as there is no offset i dont think it will put a strain on the wheel bearings if i am correct i dont think ur car has abs i know mine dosent not too sure bout urs tho
