Rite now i'm positive the car could run a consistent low/mid 14 second slip but i want to hit 13's I bought a gtech so i could possibly get an idea. But the gtech is off on everything but mph. 0-60 was on the money but quarter mile gave me 15.15 @94.4 I calculated what my real ET should be with a mpg like that and it equates to 14.39 which was expected. I also calculated my hp which equated to 211rwhp (the other reason i kno gtech is off on the ET my bro's Mach 1 came in at 14.10 @105mph)he can run consistent high twelves

Ok heres my setup

94 GT vert 5.0l
Weight with me 3760lbs
Mods:
Kenny Brown full length sub frame connectors
Kenny Brown lower k member
3.73's
cobra 17's with nitto 555's and good rubber
Pullies, K&N intake
Flowmaster cat back

Current fastest 0-60 6.1 acheiving after i heated the tires up a bit. Which i was very satisfied with.

Gtech 1/4 mile 15.10@ 94.4mph (ET is off) Corrected ET =14.39

Goals a 13 second slip and a 0-60 in under 6 seconds.

Mods under consideration:
Short Shifter Pro 5.0 (Will i really shave some time?)
Long tubes and H (I think is a must for 13's)
Auburn posi (Stock rearend doesn't always lockup like it should)

WEll thats about it and i yes i kno i am going to have to drive the **** out the car. and i don't expect to see 13' with my current setup

I had a G Tech and it was pretty accurate. Make sure you are on a level road then launch when it says go. It will wait for you to take off. If anything the MPH is off on the G-Tech. They are usually 3-4 MPH higher than the actual reading and it explains why in the manual.

Also I don't think you are much faster than the G-Tech stated. Maybe high 14s because you have no real power mods and verts are heavy. Get an intake. They are relatively cheap and add some good power.

With almost your exact mods, but with an edelbrock performer intake I ran a 13.83 at 98.55mph with a 1.91 60' on nitto drag radials.

As for the Gtech, keep this in mind. The MPH they show will ALWAYS be higher than what you will see at the track. The reason for this is that your trap speed at the track is an average for the last 66' of the track, where a Gtech measures your actual MPH at the end of the 1/4. My car Gtech'd at a 15.1 at 92mph stock... at the track I ran a 15.2 at 90mph.

BTW- with pulleys, 3.73's, and exhaust I rana 14.6 at 94.89mph which is just about the same mods as you have. That was with a LOW 2.1 60'.

Well if i go to the track and run a 15 second slip i will be a very upset

Also i bought a brand New 1st gen model g tech, for 32 bux shipped off ebay cause i didn't have 200bux

So now the next power mods are
Short shifter and CAI anyone have a preference?
