Would This Work?

I have been giving this some thought, but not having a lot of mechanical experience, I want your opinions. I have an 84 bronco that sits there collecting dust. Now I may be picking up a 94 gt. Would it be possible to take the 351 engine out of the bronco, rebuild it and such then install it into the stang?

Search, like stated above, for definate answers.

As for the heavy fabricating part, don't quote me on this, but other than suspension and such you might need a new k-member. Like I said, I don't know for sure.

It would be pretty cool to have a 351 'Stang, and carbed at that.

Wowsers.

Taking a old school car that was carbed and putting in fuel injection or a 4.6 DOHC fuel injected motor is cool :nice:

Taking a new fuel injected car and putting in a carbed motor not so much:notnice:

Unless its some radical hard core BIG HP race car set up....thats just a bad move :nonono:

You dont need a new k-member. Off the top of my head you need a oil pan/pick up, distributor, widen your stock fuel rails (easy, fuel injector line + 2 clamps for the front and rear), a hood, headers, intake etc etc etc. Search on here and corral.net . This has been covered many many many times. Its an easy swap. The only "frabricating" i did was to knotch my battery tray to clear the belt (since the 351w is a bit wider). Everything else was a bolt in thing...being a little challenging now and then cause of the reduced space.
