My car is runinng very lean and need a quick temporary fix- I put the 19# tube back into my C&L 76MM and the car runs and idles perfectly fine- this would richen up the mixture slightly correct?
Wouldn't running a 19# C&L tube with 24# injectors cause a rich condition?

I might even hone out the 19lb one more if I am still lean- that should make it even more rich... right now I am too lean-

It's telling the computer the airflow for 19# injectors.
Thing is, there are 24's on the car. So if the computer tells the injector to fire at 50% duty cycle, that's for a 24# injector and not the 19 it thinks it has. Right there is more fuel.

What do you mean sample tube? Are you referring to the tube inside the air meter housing? Do these tubes come off sepperate from the meter and sensor, or are the sample tube and sensor connected? Are you using the 76mm housing still? Your asking wouldn't it cause a rich condition, but how are you running lean then? I am interested in how you richen your mixture back up without using a dyno/wideband and tuning it.
yes, the tube unbolts from the 76mm mass air housing- there are interchangable tubes for different fuel injector sizes
I am running lean because the tube was for 24# injectors which had a smaller opening then the 19# tube- I put the 19# tube back in so the computer thinks the car is getting more air which would make it fire more fuel... that is how I am making it run richer...

yes I mean Wideband 02 sensor. My freind bought one for less than 300 bucks and it make the dyno unneccessary, unless you want the numbers. Combined with a tweecer system and the datalogger, you can record runs and tune the whole rpm range yourself with a laptop onboard everywhere you go, and never need to go to the dyno or need someone else to tune the car.
