Can you lose the spacer between the upper and the lower ?? That should help somewhat...

Contact trickflow and see what they say, they should have some idea. Surely they thought of this when designing the intake.

Go on corral.net and PM 'Mustang Brad', he has a 351 based motor with that manifold in his fox body. I been doing some researching myself on 351 based motors in foxes and trying to see what intake will fit under the stock hood or a small cowl hood. That new TFS box intake is very tall from what i've read and looking @ your pics, I can see its true

Quick OT ? for ya, you're using a 69 block which is a 2 piece rear main seal. What does that mean?? What are the pro's and cons? What did you do to use a roller cam in it? Are you gonna use those roller lifters that are linked together? Thanks,

Mike

I have the tie-bar lifters to use the roller cam in it. They are up there in price though. In my other thread you can see the pictures of them.. Its titled "ah yes new shortblock is here"

Im not sure about the 2 piece rear main.. Maybe moneypit will see this, as he changed the rear main seal.

.....why is the engine bigger than our cars.... haha. thats quite a predicament you are in. i guess its legal over there for you to use a 4inch cowl. in VA, anything over 3 inches is a no go. id say cut out your hood to have it stick out. in the current issue of MM&FF, the cover has a sn95 with his hood cut out. seems to show his turbo tubing. looks SCARY in my opinion. oh yeah, scary is a good thing.

I have the 4 inch hood on my car and i think it will fit. Even with the stock intake on a 302 it sits higher than the tops of the fenders. It will be close though.
