so how much did the insurance give you for the car? and how much did you buy it back off of them for?

I never had full coverage on my stang because every company wanted to charge me a ridiculous premium. I would have paid the price of the car 2 times over if I went for full coverage. what a scam .

did you really pay 600 a month for insurance? how many months was the car in your name before you wrecked it?

I took massive pics and ill post tomorrow. I have exams all this week. I only paid $157 for full coverage. helps to get good grades in school. My mom and dad are still talking to the insurance company so I dont know how much im getting just yet. The second i find out, ill post it.

yeah, the ruber seal around the e-brake, driver's power seat, driver's floor mat, the black plastic cover that goes above the radiator and the plastic clips that hold it on, that is my list of misc. parts I need... let me know if you don't need those for your new stang, thanks.

Well, after I get my new car and I'll see what I'll have to give up. I'm pretty damned sure I can let go most of that stuff you guys need.

My ex-girlfriends mom backed into my car the other day and decided not to tell me about it... I got home from the Deftones show, got in my car and drove home, the next morning I went ballistic goin' "WHO THE HELL HIT MY CAR" (And adding in other words that I probably shouldn't elaborate on... So, after pacing the street with a sledge hammer in my hand looking for black paint, I got a call from the ex, telling me that it was her mom, she just didn't want to say it to my face...

At least at first you knew what happened I had a friend who's 2000 Contour SVT got T-Boned while it was parked on the street hit-n-run style, he's still trying to save cash to get a new door/hood/rest of car...

Insurance

Ok, finally duked it out with the insurance company. It cost me $390 to buy my car back. They gave me $5000 for it. I was so happy. This is the first day in 5 days something good has happened to me.

Looks like I'll be having a new project. I talked to my dad and when I buy my new car, he is making me buy a transmission rebuild kit. I'm gonna take the tranny out of the wrecked stang and put it in my basement. He wants me to take an hour or two out of each day and rebuild the T5. Since I'm going to NTI soon, he wants me to have a pretty good sized project under my belt. This is gonna be fun. I'm excited. Hell, I could probably sell it or keep for the day when mine decides to give out.
