This site is awesome!! Thanks BK for your help.

I hope I can fix it. I have so much time in this car that it would be hard to let it go.

It was hit by an old datsun pickup. My hip was bruised but thats about it. I saw the flash of his headlight right before the impact and moved my body towards the passenger seat.

I actually live in Naples which is about 1.5hrs south of Bradenton. I had to trailer it back home yesterday.

That sucks, I'm sure you'll get it back the way it was, nice foureye. Ny inlaws have a condo on Ft. Meyers Beach, we come down there alot sometimes we drive the Lightning. Next time we come down it would be cool to get together.

back2fox- ok man here are the pictures i was talking about.

its very relevant that you duplicate these pictures as close as posible for me so i can asses the situation more. i wont have a problem coming down to help you, the only problem i will have is getting my tools there (welder, compressor,etc..) but we can work on that later.

just see if you can get these pics for me in the meen time and i will get us a game plan together on this. this car WILL be fixed

this is a picture of the door catch support and jamb

this is a picture of the sill facing towards the rear of the car

this is the sill facing the front of the car

this is the sill right above the front seat mount

this is the pinch weld under the car (where i will seperate it)

this is the inside of the jamb and catch support

dude sorry to hear about your car but while your fixing it you might want to think about scraping the tweed dash! or at least switch it to shag!

Thanks again BK. Tomorrow I will remove the seat so I can get close to duplicating the pics. I'll post those up by Weds.

Here are some detailed pics of the areas you needed. I hope these work. I'm still waiting on estimates to straighten the rear quarter panel and door hinge area. Maybe too much to save this thing.
