Johhny, just my $0.02 here, but I'd be leery of buying a used Posi/LSD. They wear out over time and even if they are working when you buy them you never really know how much life they have left in them. Lockers I'd say the same, but to a MUCH lesser extent.
If I were you I'd look for a used open diff to save money, they are probably under $50 for a complete center (open/28s). Then you can install a fresh/new posi/LSD into it and have the peace of mind.
