2 days ago I took off my throttle body to change the gasket and just to clean it out. I got everything back together but now my car is really quiet. It still has the same tone, just really quiet. At idle I can barely even tell it's on and at the drone spot (1800-2200 rpm) it doesn't even drone anymore. The car runs like normal though. Anyone ever have a problem like this before or know what it could be?

A Miracle? Sounds fishy to me, especially since you've got 1 chambers. I dont think this could be something wrong, but it's pretty odd. All i can think of is maybe your motor was straining more or running harder if it were clogged up or something? Does it run the same RPM at idle? Rev quicker?

Yeah it's very strange. Thats what I was thinking with maybe something being clogged up before. It idles the same as it did before. It does seem to rev a little bit quicker. And I guess I shouldn't say "quiet," cause it's still kinda loud, but it just doesn't drone like it use to or is as loud as use to be.

Yes that is true. But I'm just dissapointed because I like my car loud. Maybe I'll get the old sound back once I through on some better heads/intake/cam.

you may have changed the A/F ratio a bit. I know that when my BAP went bad, it was running lean, and droned a lot louder than normal.
