You can buy a noid light (they are about 5 bucks at most parts stores). It is like a little LED test light. It will flash every time the injector is commanded to squirt.
I suppose you could use an LED test light (if you own one already).
I'd do a cylinder balance test first. You should find one obvious cylinder not firing. Then examine its plug and plug wire. You might just have a bad plug.
