They rust in a month and look like shat,i dont get it.It seems like they would use stainless steel for around 50 bucks a pair???Anyone have similer complaints?
I used to be an aircraft mechanic so I know that there are other sources for Dzus fasteners.
Try searching Google or Yahoo for companies that supply home built or experimental aircraft parts. You will find many different kinds of quick release fasteners for a much better price.
Plus those are not good for a daily driver and what i mean by that is if a fire or something happens and you gotta get under that hood quick...Well you know what i mean.

just couldnt help myself to a response, we joke about this all the time. jrichker you forgot to tell him to buy the ones sans an aircraft release tag or hell pay four times the price.. Being also an ex a/c mechanic i should have stocked up, aside from the lps, duck tape, masking tape(for when i paint my car). I forgot about the good stuf dzus' and an fittings etc etc.
