the 70mm tb is oversized for a stock intake but he has intentions on going h/c/i later which 70 mms is great. I come from the buy parts now for what you plan later and buy them once school of thought. If he had no intentions of ever removing the stock intake id wholeheartedly agree, a 65 mm tb would be jus fine. He can also grind the opening on his stock intake for the time being. dont forget that.

powermaster makes a nice 140amp one wire alternator. Easiest alternator i have ever installed. This is a good gift if you havent upgraded your alternator. Lots of guys go 3g but they are more involving on installation.

thanks guys im gonna look into the electric fan idea more, and strype if you have the link to the taurus one that would be great.

Regarding the t-5 swap I have poured way to much money into my AOD. She was rebuilt right before I bought her last year and then I added the Cooler, Converter, and shift kit. With 4.10 gears you would be surprised how much of a blast she is to drive.

If i asked for a TB it would have to be a 70mm since eventually I will do an HCI

I was at 210 with the stock fan and I'm at 180-185 on the hottest days now. Is it a 93 and below or a 94+? Because it's hell on the 93 below alternator

Heres a couple how about a aluminum drive shaft or some summit racing seats (will be a little over). if your looking for gauges you should do the florida 50 guage cluster its so nice and then buy some gauges for it. or ask your rents if they will just give you money and use it to save up for the H/C/I

I think I am juss gonna go with gauges......I was also considering a JLT Fenderwell Cold Air Kit....Painted to match the car......might be a waste since I already have a K&N

i think a nice electric fan and an exterior fuel pressure guage... the guage would look neat and the fan will help on hot days!! should be right in your price range!

If the guage becomes a supporting mod then YES they would be a great idea. But seeing how his engine is actually 100% stock.. there isn't a neccessity to spend money on gauges.. just yet.

I myself only have one gauge. And thats because after my supercharger went on I thought it neccassary to have at the minimum a boost gauge. It has helped me ONE time when I blew the vaccum hose off my By-pass valve. See how vaccum almost dissapeared on the gauge.. I was able to fix the problem immediately.

Either way, if its not needed and doesnt increase power I dont buy it.

it's obvious you aren't reading other's comments, which is ironic considering you accused me of the same thing.

a gauge is a supporting mod any way you look like it. he says he wants to go HCI later..why not know water temp (dont want aluminum heads to warp if it gets close to overheating) and oil pressure (obviously important on any motor).

The stock gauges suck. It's a fact.

And a 70mm TB will a supporting modification as well. He wants to go HCI down the line..who cares how well it will "fit" on a stock intake...it's going away anyways.

Make sure you do what you accuse others of not doing
