x pipe 1/8+1/4 mile gains

How much gains do I see in the 1/8 (especially because 1/8 is the only track around) and 1/4 mile if I install a off road x pipe with my current set up. My last time was 8.71 with a 1.9 60 in the 1/8. I am thinking about getting one for the ford vs chevy comp coming up trying to find a way to keep up with those darn LS1s

Im gonna say about 10-15rhwp/15-20rwtq. I installe dmine and felt a definite difference. The car pulls ALOT harder up top and doesnt run out of breath anymore. You notice the most in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears. I love mine.

I would say easily .1 and most likely up to .2. Ill be taking my car ot the track in afew weeks and then i'll let you know for sure.

In the 1/4, I lost avg 2 MPH when I put my 17" Cobra replica's on. When I put my X pipe on, I regained that 2 MPH. It was definately a noticable mod and I wish I had done it sooner.

We just completed some rear wheel dyno tests on a 94 Mustang switching from oem H to 2.5 mandrel X. http://pypesexhaust.com/dyno-94mustang.html I would say a 1/10th in the 1/8th mile and 2/10ths in the quarter mile.

The good thing is once you mod your engine even more, that X-pipe will do an even beter job.

I equalled my best time after putting in a prochamber - not exactally an x-pipe, but similar in concept. I had a lot of trouble hooking up which may explain the lack of ET gains. I did consistantly improve my trap speed by 3 mph (best of 95 mph wiith a stock h-pipe to to 98 mph with the prochamber)
