I figured i'd show you guys what ive been up to today.
Since my old h-pipe isnt heat wrapped, and is all rusted out, and never fit right. I got my new X-pipe yesterday, and wrapped it....it came out great! Its also a 2peice x-pipe so hopefully i can get it to fit better than my old summit H-pipe, and maby pick up some horspower? Its not for the horsepower anyway, i just wanted to eliminate any leaks if there is, and mainly get the whole thing wrapped! here are some pics;

Next, i dont know if anyone has used one, but i bought a mothers powerball today, and holy ****! i had to take some pics.....this thing is AMAZING! With just some mother's paste, and about 15mins, i was able to take my wheels from this:

Sweet...see you have the car all primered...1/2 there then...
Done some reading on header wrapping awhile back and one thing that came up alot was how wrapping eats, or rusts the system away...as it holds alot of moisture in the system...Better keep that mother outta the rain...

i hear ya on the water, but i think that the exhaust will get pleanty hot to get rid of any water.....in fact it should run hotter now.....inside the wrap, anyhow, it was cheap, and i bet it cant rust any faster than my summit H, lol.

im looking foreward for when my car boosts at 500 rpm with this wrap

don't mean to hijack the thread, but did you guys remove the weather stripping around the front/rear windshields or just tape them up? i gotta do this next week and i'd rather not remove them to be honest.

i just taped everything.

What i used was a Powerball with regular Mag polish, in the white and red can. It was chucked into a 14.4 dewalt cordless at highest speed(fast). You can see the drill and powerball in the first pic(my garage is like a where's waldo!)

Honestly, the pics dont do it justice, wait till i get it out in the sun.....gotta see it in person, they literally are shiner than when i bought them lol. amazing.

Also, i found out whats wrong, just waiting on Mass Air Systems to give me a call about repair.

Paul...No way around masking these unless you wanna replace the windshields...I cut the front one as I got a new front windshield as mine was all pitted and looked like ass...I accidently dropped something on it and my insurance replaced it....
75.00 outta my pocket and I had a new one....

What you can do is pull the rubber up some and push/tuck something like 1/8" dia wire under it to lift it in the air some...You won't get a masking/paint line and masking it is way easier..its so soft it will lay right back into position later...
