X-PIPE made my 5.0 sound like a modular 4.6

I've had my Bassani X for a while now and it was really "good" with the stock catback and 2 chamber flow mufflers. The X sat a little lower than the stock H and then I lowered the car with H&R springs so it was even closer to the ground. I scraped once in a while, but not often.

A couple months ago, I added the Bassani catback and told the exhaust shop that the X was too low for me. With the new catback, adjusting the X was easy and now I never scrape at all.

Now the sound is great and much improved over my original catback setup. More volume under decent acceleration and absolutetly screams at WOT. I've scared more than a couple pedestrians and a few others when going by fairly hard.

It cost a lot of $$$ to get this setup, compared to other options, but this is what I wanted and knew it had to sound good. Inside the car, the sound is really nice, but I had no idea how cool, mean, and evil it sounded till I had my wife get behind the wheel while I stood outside. WOW! A totally different experience outside the car.

check out the vid in my sig. It is a h-pipe with my choice of turbos as mufflers.

i thought it sounded OK, but now i moved the turbos to the engine bay and i'm running an off road X with some flowmasters.........sounds ok, but its very quiet compared to when i was running just flows and an o/r h....and IMO dosent sound as good.
