X-Pipe or H-Pipe? I need some input pleeeease guys!!!

I hear People say that I should get a BBK off road H-pipe and how they are the best and then I hear people say that I should get an X-Pipe and this and that. Can you guys please tell me what you think. I have a 1991 red drop top LX 5.0. Thanks guys!!!

Use the search button... This has been covered literally 1000 times. But my vote is for NEITHER... Prochamber all the way. I took off my offroad H pipe for one.

The power difference between the two is nothing you would really feel, and it just boils down to sound. An H-Pipe and a X-Pipe have different sounds. Some people prefer the H sound, and some prefer the X sound. An X pipe is usually a bit quieter...

h pipe, lower sound, more bass, less rasp, some say more low end power

x pipe, not as much bass, more raspy, some say better flow characteristics in the higher rpms.

H pipes sound like every other 5.0 you have heard with flowmasters

x pipe, well, they sound just plain nasty. I have had both, and I run the x because I like the sound it has.
