x-pipe or not

lookin for opionions. have mac LT's, mac prochamber, and flowmaster mufflers. not loud or deep enough. wondering if i should change out the prochamber and get an x or change mufflers. thinking about dynomax race bullets. or change both. thanks

if its not loud it enought get O/r h or X
if you want a "nascar" sound go with x
if you want a old school muscle go with H
changing from pro to H will make it a bit louder and deeper.
if you want loud.. keep the pro and get stingers or magnapacks..i dunno anything about bullets.
im getting O/R H and packs.. i let you know how this sounds. i have a vids of some stangs if you want to hear them.

To be honest I don't realy like the sound with the X, a little raspy for my likes. Loud as hell, that I like, but I'd have preferred a deeper sound.

If you want loud, and deep, and just flat out mean sounding go with the packs and O/R H Pipe. Sounds absolutely great. Thats what I got and I've got compliments from guys with old 60's camaros and newer vettes. Its a good sound, especially if you could make yourself some side exhaust without buying a premade kit. get between some buildings and let it go. sounds awesome!

magnapacks are around $400-$500
stingers are around $500-600

quality and sound is comparable
both stainless and both straigh through
personaly id go with the packs and save the 100+ for an OR H

man i hate reading these threads. i can't wait to get my X put on. i coated it today and shoudl get the car back from the bodyshop soon. then i will throw it on.

im talking about just the mufflers without the stainless steel tips. My stock tips were stainless so i just ran them.

but yeah, stingers can't be found just in singles. But borla weld in's 100 bucks. its amazing what they charge for preformed and stainless steel.

The sound is in the muflfers; the mid pipe will help you w/the tone at idle or WOT. Check out an O/R H pipe w/ 'straight thru' mufflers, and i think it will be what you're looking for

Is getting a X pipe w/ cats worth paying the xtra money or just better to go w/o cats. Is there that a big sound diff. between the two?
