X-Pipe Sound Question

Hey all, i was planning on buying a set of Magnaflow Xpipes. I want to stay street legal so i was planning on buying the one with the cats. My friend has a set that doesnt have the cats on there and I was wonder is there a huge difference in the sound from the pipes? His really sound good, but i have nothing to comare it to. Any help is much appreciated guys!

Well chances are it'll most likely be a slightly quieter sound (it'll still be loud as hell though ) and it might be a little less raspy.

go to www.mustangexhaust.com and you can hear alot of different exhaust clips of cars with x,H pipes cats and no cats

I just took off my magnaflow hiflow cat pipes because they were far too quiet for me... Had some catless bbk x-pipes around and used those now it roars..
