Awhile back I got the conversion kit that came with the 24#injectors, 70mm MAF sensor and the X3Z Cobra computer. I guess everything is perfectly calibrated for one another. I have a A9P computer I just got ahold of and was wondering if there is any reason to change from the X3Z thats in there to the A9P. By the way the car is really built up and running great. Can the A9P adjust to mods better?? Let me know, Thanks!!

I wouldnt bother messing with it if it runs good. From here its better to get a chip and a custom dyno tune if you do anything. Of course now everyone is going to tell you to switch to the A9P because it doesnt retard over 90 mph. But I think it keeps the car safe and the X3Z comp is a little better calibrated to the MAF and injectors.

Thanks for the info, I was considering getting a dyno tune and chip, but was wondering how much power I could really get from a chip that I cant with playing around with the TPS, timing , and fuel pressure. Like I said the car is extremely modified and was told I could get a bunch of power even though its n/a, is that true??

Do a search for a guy named Grover Dill. He went from like 305rwhp to 330rwhp just by doing a custom chip. Yes its true you can pick up some really good power by going custom.

EDIT- check this thread

If they are able to burn a custom chip for the X3Z computer and I can get 10-20 rwhp I am there!! Thanks for the link, Im going to start looking around for a reputable speed shop here in SE Florida, but it shouldnt be too hard. Thanks again for the info.
