Just a question for those that have this set up
I have an Auto 04 Gt, and just had my 4.10's installed. I had my xcal2 before this and had the canned tunes 87, 91 , and 91 "race" tune, as i don't have any 92/93 gas in the area.
What I would like to know is do the tuners generally change the shift points for your different gear ratio, should the shift points be adjusted for the new 4.10's installed or would they keep them the same as if the gears were stock and just adjust the speedo for the gear ratio??
also on the 91 race tune i have been bumping up the spark advance a degree at a time but the weather is still cool here and i hear no spark knock/pinging yet, but i am worried about when summer is here fully and it gets warmer out if i might run into some detonation, should i wait and adjust this for when it is hotter outside so that i won't have to keep adjusting the timing due to weather??
