Xcal2 anyone knows how much gains ..please

remember though, you might only gain a few ponies peak, but you will also gain a few ponies THROUGHOUT the whole rpm band. sometimes, its not always about peak power output.

are you running the 93 tune with 93oct gas right? its possible your gas station is using ****ty gas, and its not 93 octane it should be. ive used 91 at some places on my dsm and never had any knock/det, but some other places 91 and id get it till that tank of crap gas was used. im in cali, so 91 is all we get unless you go to "special" gas stations(ones truckers use have 100octane usually).

try the 93 tune and back down the timing a bit and add a wee bit of fuel in the mix and see how it goes. if it still pings, try the 91 tune(if there is one, i use diablo so i dont really know SCT stuff) or try a different gas stations gas. or maybe a little dyno time could figure things out, but itll cost a bit to get a tune and a a/f readout.

You will experience pinging if you advance the timing with 87 octane. You need higher octane gas to increase the timing. I didn't know places existed in the U.S. where you weren't allowed to have anything but 87 octane... some cars require higher from the factory!

Try this, do some math and get some octane booster to get your gas to 94 octane or so. Then try the tune. I don't know what this would accomplish if you can't buy 93 octane gas, but at least you can get the satisfaction that $400 did something ...

Dont know about HP but atleast .1 on the 1320'.
