Xcalibrator 2 troubles

I have a SCT Xcalibrator for my 04 gt. When I plug it into my car it will allow me to program my ecu with the tunes that are on it but when I try to use the data capture it says - No Capture Files Loaded, Setup Capture: No Capture Files Loaded. It wont read trouble codes from my ecu and when I try to connect it to Live link it says Device Initilization Failed.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you tried looking on the SCT website?

I remember reading somewhere that you cannot use the data capture until you have downloaded some file from the SCT website...

That's true. Go to SCT webpage and update the tuner. Pearl02.
