As you all know I installed a scotts hot rod front suspension on my 66 mustang. This weekend I finally got back down to where my car is being stored to weld in the motor mounts. I got a mock 302 engine, put on my intake, fox body oil pan, and FPA long tubes.
I bolted on the motor mounts and put the assembly in the car. It took a few minutes to get everything lined up....but it was pretty simple. The headers fit....AND....AND the flaming river steering column and intermediate shaft fit with no rubbing (rack and pinion conversion).
FPA headers will fit with a heidt's kit too from my calculations. Just wanted to update all of you that are wondering about FPA headers, a MII style front conversion, and a flaming river column/shaft
