That is just a guess, but it's going by how impressed the machine guy was with the port work, and by what it's running vs. other combos i've seen. It's at least in the mid 200cfm range...not bad for hand porting.

The cam is a Ford Racing X303...it sounds pretty good but not super lopey...it's pretty well behaved on the street. With .542 lift it's about as much lift and durration you can run on stock pistons without notching them. I think it would run better with a split duration cam, or especially a custom cam but to go custom i'd have to tear it apart and get the heads flowed which isn't in my budget right now. I'm gonna try a Stage 1 if i find one used for a good price.

If you wanna hear the lope there's a clip in my sig. I think the mufflers hide some of it too.

I want to go with a TFS stage 1 cam too how do they work with carb cars? plus im going to have the same intake you have and AFR 165's Will that cam produce a nice lope or be less then your x303 that you have now?

I'm not sure about how different it would run with EFI vs. a carb...i don't know if there'd really be a difference?

As for the lope i'm fairly sure it's rougher...but then again every X303 i see a video for sounds like it's gonna roll the car over on its side from all the lope, and mine's nowhere near that rowdy sounding.

Just remember, the right cam doesn't necessarily lope...i love the sound but i also love that i can call it a "mild cam" since it doesn't sound as mean as it is.
