If you didn't correct your speedo you are not travelling a true 70mph. so yoru gauges may indicate that (as it calucluates MPH off of driveshaft RPM and the relation between engine RPM and driveshaft RPM did not change (same transmission) however the relationship between driveshaft rpm and car mph has changed.

So this is what needs to be corrected. It is always possible that the shop got you close but not perfect for those gears.

if you havent put in a new speedo gear or one of those devices that recalbrate your speed after a gear install then your MPH will be off.
