Its a little high for my likeing also but beleive it or not,i need it that high to clear the motor The 3 1/2" cowl mostly hit on the TB cause its so big.peace

I agree. Looks great! I had a handmade hood on my 351w fox twenty years ago and loved it. Not to look cool, but to fit that engine in there. Function over form!
