Because the engine, trans and suspension are extremely similar.
Has nothing to do with looks, the 98 has a sohc 4.6 and the 95 has a pushrod 5.0.
If would not be advised to seek advice for a 95 in the 98 forum.

I believe Ford internally called 94 - 98 Mustangs the Fox-4 Platform.

Technically, the Fox platform soldiered on with very few changes from 1978 all the way up until 2004.

His point is valid though.

If i had a 1994 V6 and needed help with a wiring harness or something specific to that car, I wouldn't know what forum to go to.

Top level, it's broken down and 79-95 and then 96-04. You have to click in the 96-04 forum to see the V6 subforum does include 94-95. However, i can understand that traffic to the forum doesn't really demand a separate subforum for 94-95. With only 5000 or so posts for the 94-04 span, breaking out the 94-95 years might account for 20% of those posts....or probably less due to the age of the vehicles. So again...not a whole lot of traffic we are talking about here...even though the 2015+ board has less traffic.

The fox rocks!
the 94-5 stangs get kinda confusing, basically the same engine, some different electronic stuff. Sorta like a step child,

"Fox" is a code name for a chassis/platform
"SN95" is a code name for a chassis/platform

S = specialty vehicle (vehicle segment that Mustang is in)
N = North America (location of engineering team responsible for design)
95 = program/project number

Fox = 1978-1993 (various F/L/M models)
SN95 = 1994-2004 (Mustang)

S197 = 2005-2014 (Mustang)
S550 = 2015-present (Mustang)
