Sorry for yet another tire question, but I have been searching for days with no luck..
I'm searching for tires for my 95 GT Convertible with stock 16" ponies, with tire size 225/55/16. DiscountTireDirect lists 205/60/16 as an optional tire size. The tires in that size are less expensive, so I was wondering if anyone has gone that size and if it makes any difference? I know most people go with wider, but this is for my daily driver and I need them to last. Thanks in advance..

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

205 tires are going to look rediculous. The factory tire is a 245/50R16.

Yeah, mine came with the 16" ponies. I've never seen one that came with 225s.
