I watched the show this year that mazda was one of my favorites the 302 fits in there very well almost like Ford and Mazda were in bed togther hehehehehe

I got to take a friend's car for a dig. It's a fox coupe - bone stock engine, 73mm mass air, 65mm throttle body, exhaust, gears, shifter, suspension, and 100 hp of juice. He took it and ran 8.2. I took it next and ran 7.914. That car launches nice and straight. I figured it was pretty quick car considering the mods.

I didn't see you racing out there Dave. How come?

that cute little coupe was Todd's car he was going to put all his Saleen powertrain into but he musta changed his mind and sold it , My car is still being upgraded I built a 377 for ole blue shed some weight and got an A518 overdrive built to take a beating, So I can finally put some gear in the car and hang out in the 7 club ......Boo to trailers

Yes, it was. It had a Rocen Autosport sticker on the windshield.

I think Todd is now kickin himself for selling it. It was a nice clean coupe, now he can't find another one for a good price that's in good shape.

well I have known Todd for a long time and he has owned something like 30 5.0s even if he does find another one he'll sell it too ! the only car he'll never sell is the red Saleen

I still have my old 91' LX notch that I've had for years. The g/f keeps harping at me to get rid of it b/c I never drive it but I don't think I'll ever sell it.

I really like that red Saleen, I could watch him race all day long!! I wonder what rpm he's shifting at, that thing just screams!!!

I believe he shifts at 6200 or 6300 rpm. The reason it sounds so cool is because the exhaust is dumped just after the x-pipe.
I love that car, although I would rather cruise around in his white Saleen speedster

I rode in Todds Saleen last fall at Esterhazy I was expecting it to be violent ans somewhat scary but it is very soft and comfy almost to comfy but never the less very fun I think my car will be very deceptive to the average opponent it will be a quick fat sleeper
