your guesses on what my car will run after my first few mods??

My car now is stock, only real mod to it is flowtech equal shorties.... and no cats and flowmasters.....

No i am going to the nearest track friday, it will be my first time, hopefully i will get the hang of racing and learn my car well, so i can get my best times out of her. But i think she can run a 15.5 to 15.7 ish time , this is with my stock AOD and 2.73s

Then i will install a new rearend, rebuilt trac loc and 3.90 gears.
THen i will put in another AOD with a TCI 3000 rpm stall and a transgo shift kit
Then i will remove my AC and smog and then underdrives later on....
What do you think the car will run after these mods??
I dont know how much gears and stuff improve times so i dunno....

i am thinking with the new gears you should be in the low to mid 14's.......if you can get traction!

Where did you get 3.90's? Do they still make those?

Your car will be much faster once you change your converter and add those gears. Be prepaired to buy an extra set of tires to race with.

i am buying a rebuilt rear end with 390s installed in them
Yukon makes them i know...

motive still makes 3.90s for the 8.8...i bet with everything done mid to low low 13s

strange engineering makes them also. Richmond makes a 3.89 gear too...
