just curious what all of you think about this tranny? im looking into eventually getting one.. my cars not gunna be a road course car, and a rare drag racer. mostly the everyday, hopefully sleeper..
Not to be a major smart ass, but its in a viper, pretty sure it will handle a little bit more than your t5
yeah, i think that your good on that tranny. now, if it was me, with that 6th gear, i would run 4.10s in that car. yeah, you might do some highway driving, but, dude, you could run that 6th gear out like crazy.
The T-56 should hold up to pretty much what you can give it. A buddy is making approx 650 rwhp and mid 700's rw/torque . His is a regular t-56. The viper spec ones hold more.
Hey, I got one of those I love it. Best $3000 I ever spent. And its gears are AWESOME for cruising down the highway. Now, just gotta get some 4.56's swapped in. BTW, my T56 is on it's 3rd summer, and that's after I ate 3 T5's in a year.
