Saw my 1st GT500

At IBM in Tucson. The guy was just coming into the access road. The look in a magizine is nothing compared to the look on the road.

Then I saw a 93 Cobra in a parking lot, it was a good Mustang day.

i too saw my first last week. it looked mean coming down the road. It was a red with white stripes.

Saw my first one back in September. A Marine two-star general had ordered one from the same dealer as I ordered my GT. His was due to arrive the week before mine but it worked out that mine arrived a week early and his was two weeks late. When mine did arrive I rubbed it in by e-mailing him a couple of pictures. One evening I was driving down the road and looked in my rear view mirror and saw that I had a Mustang quickly bearing down on me. Pretty soon I had a mirror full of blue GT 500. It was the general. He'd noticed my personalized tag so he knew it was me and decided to have a little payback fun for the pics that I sent to him. He'd had the car for about five days and had all of sixty miles on it. We pulled into a parking lot, parked the cars side by side and looked them both over. His is a convertible. A very, very nice car. Wish I'd had my camera with me.

I've seen a couple since they've been released. I remeber going and seeing one at the dealer with all the markups. Insane!

The first one I saw was on the New York Thruway on a trailer I would kill to drive that car on a road like the NY thruway.

He's a rather interesting individual, as he always has a toy of some kind. Before the Shelby it was a Vette. Right after I got my 95 GT several years ago, he asked me what mods I was planning to install, and I told him that I really wasn't sure. His resopnse was that if I really wanted to get the most out of the car I needed to install a CAI, catback, underdrive pulleys and gears. He's obviously into this stuff.

Saw a GT500 and a GT

I saw my first GT500 at Laguna Seca on 21 Oct 06

Also, on 25 Nov 06 I pulled up alongside a red/white GT on Hwy 68! God, that thing sounded great just rumbling at idle and also as it roared away.
